Construction of a fire depot was carried out in the territory of Riga Airport which is the biggest airport in Latvia. The Building has a high energy efficiency class.
A new fire station has replaced two existing stations, improving airfield safety and reducing the travel time for the fire team to fire or accident site.
Various Peikko solutions where chosen; to ensure open spaces, DELTABEAM® Slim Floor Structure, to have openings in the slabs; Petra® Slab Hangers.
In order to avoid concrete floor transformations since it's affected by fire trucks a decision was made to use TERAJOINT® Free Movement Joint.
