Welcome to Cyber City - a city within a city, a  forward-looking real estate project, located in a progressive & evolving part of Vilnius – Naujamiestis.

Cyber City isn’t just an office space. It’s a future-proof hub where the top tech talents and companies meet the best conditions for work, growth, and innovation.

The complex consists of four buildings. Peikko Lietuva designed and supplied DELTABEAM® Composite Beams, steel structures (steel beams, stairs, trusses), WELDA® fastening plates, and HPM® anchor bolts for three of them. In total, almost 4 km of DELTABEAM® were designed, manufactured, and delivered for this complex.

Vytas Sirtautas, Head of the Lithuanian Project Dept. of INHUS and Senior Project Manager of Cyber city, when asked why Peikko Lietuva products were chosen for this project, answered the following:  "When working on a project of such a high complexity as Cyber City the success of the project is determined by details. Peikko's standard products used in the project: WELDA® fasteners and HPM® anchor bolts helped to save time in the design of the connections and ensured the quality. The floors of the building were designed using standard DELTABEAM® composite beams, that met expectations both: the customer and the architect and the work with standard elements and connections ensured met the deadlines.“

Peikko Lietuva constructor Laurynas Žvirblis, who contributed to the renovation of Cyber City project, notes that each building has unique shapes and sizes, and deals with individual design challenges.

  • The first Building was designed with a large and open atrium inside, with DELTABEAM® spans of 7.5 m and HCS slabs of 15.0 m. "Hybrid" box cross-section HSQ - composite DELTABEAM® are also designed in the atrium. The DELTABEAM® part is cantilever and emerges from the elevator shafts into the atrium. This made it possible to form an atrium with a minimum number of columns, thus preserving the architectural concept.
  • In the second building, the spans of DELTABEAM® reached 8.5 m and 13.5 m of HCS slabs. A more interesting and non-standard place is the entrance ramp to the building, where the DELTABEAM® were designed with slopes according to the slopes of the HCS slabs.
  • In the third building, the main challenge became the cantilever beams that had to hold the glass facade. The HCS slabs protrude from the structure like cantilevers on two sides of the building, which are perpendicular to each other. The spans of DELTABEAM® are 8.5 m and 6.0 m and the length of the cantilever parts is 2.5 m in one direction and 2.0 m in the other direction. Due to the glass facade, the deflections of the DELTABEAM® were very limited for these beams.

The close work and communication of the engineers of INHUS, Veikmės statyba and Peikko Lietuva made it possible to overcome all the challenges in the design work of this complex. And with the help of composite DELTABEAM®, it was possible to implement architectural ideas and visions.
